How We Survey Sites When we first started this site, we identified from search engines, all the sites that sold compatible inkjet printer cartridges. We culled this down to the top 50 by eliminating sites that had no on-line purchase, sold only a restricted range or had very small traffic volumes (based on Alexa statistics). Each week we visit these sites and check out the prices on four of the most popular inkjet cartridges. We then add in shipping to get a total cost. We then select cheapest the 10 and rank these in price order, cheapest first. These results are then put up on this web site As this procedure is repeated monthly, the results change weekly. Generally though, about 70% of the top ten sites remain the same though their ranking order may vary considerably. We recommend you check out the prices for several sites.
